What is involved in counselling?
To put simply, counselling is a conversation. The difference between a conversation with a friend or family member compared to a conversation with a therapist is that the focus is on the client, allowing for reflection, questioning, practicing and exploring past or new situations in a safe setting.
What can I expect working with Natural Element?
Elle brings a natural, relaxed and non-judgemental approach as the foundation of building a trusting client-therapist relationship. From there, she brings in all the necessary elements tailored to each client and their goals, such as:
Helping to ground thoughts and emotions when in states of overwhelm.
Finding comfort in getting swept up with the wind and building trust in where it will take you.
Rekindling your spark and helping to light your beacon of hope.
Challenging stigma, biases and self-talk to face into better opportunities.
Elle will set up a plan with what you would like to achieve and how you would like to achieve it using integrated therapeutic strategies.
