To save you some time, here are answers to our most frequently asked questions...

Do I need a referral?

No referrals are needed to see a counsellor or coach in Australia. Simply get in touch and we can start working together when you're ready.

Can I use a Medicare mental health care plan or Private Health insurance with you?

Currently Australian counsellors are not covered under Medicare and have limited options under private health so Elle cannot support health care plans or insurance at this time. Elle structures her fees so they are on par with the average gap payment you might pay to see a clinician under Medicare or Private Health.

Do you support TAC / Workcover?

No, currently only Australian psychologists can support TAC / Workcover plans and as counsellors we're not covered.

Are you an NDIS provider?

At this stage we are applying to be a NDIS Provider and can currently support those with self-management plan who would like to access counselling as part of their NDIS funding. Keep in touch for updates!

What are the costs for your services?

Fees are subject to change and you can keep up to date here. As of May 2023, the current rates are:

Individual Counselling $100 for 50min - 1hr / $70 for concession & students

Couples/Group/Family Counselling $130 for 50min - hr

Individual Coaching $150 per hour

Group Coaching $275 per hour

Resumes from $49 to $349 (see more here)

Note: All prices are in AUD.

Do you offer face to face counselling?

Yes! We are operating in Rockbank, one of Melbourne's outer western suburbs and can now see clients in person.

How can I give feedback or make a complaint about your service?

In all cases we would like to hear about your feedback directly, whether good or bad. For good feedback, a Google Review would be greatly appreciated. For all other feedback, please get in touch with Elle at hello@naturalelement.com.au or complete our contact form to provide details and a response will be provided within 2 business days.

If you are not happy with the outcome of your feedback and would like to take further steps, you have the right to contact our professional body PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation Australia) to raise an ethical complaint.

For NDIS participants, in addition to contacting PACFA above, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission

Is there something else you would like to ask?
